ETN

  • ETN magnetic drive pump

The new ETN series of single-stage magnetic drive centrifugal pumps connects directly to a B5 motor.
Hydraulic components are obtained from injection moulding of polypropylene + GF or pure ETFE. The pump body is made from nodular cast iron (FC 400) and acts as a support for the internal ETFE or PP liner built using CDR, "ILS" (Integrated Lining System) technology .

This solution ensures exceptional mechanical resistance and dimensional stability under even the most testing operating conditions. The option of using LF graphite rotary bushings with low coefficient of friction coupled with the exclusive "FTC" (Full Thrust Control) magnetic balancing system for the internal rotor allows occasional dry operation for up to one hour. On the other hand, the pure silicon carbide (SiC) version allows the use of ETN pumps with liquids containing suspended solids (within the limits prescribed in the table) or particularly corrosive acids. Motion is transmitted by magnetic couplings made from neodymium-iron-boron, thus avoiding a mechanical connection between impeller and the driving part.

This system guarantees maximum operating safety by virtually eliminating any risk of leakage. This series of pumps offers excellent value, making it a particularly attractive proposition for builders of small systems and OEM users.
