TFT LCD panel maker AU Optronics (AUO) has reported that a minor fire took place at a plant at the Central Taiwan Science Park (CTSP) on September 16, 2011 due to a gas leak.

The fire was extinguished quickly with no major damage reported, and operations at the plant were unaffected, the company said.
