Asustek's January revenues increased 9.9% on year and Pegatron's about 60%.
Market analysts originally projected Asustek's revenues for the first quarter of 2012 at NT$80 billion, but have upward adjusted the projection to NT$85 billion because Asustek's sales of motherboards, notebooks and tablet PCs in North America and Europe have been better than originally expected.
Pegatron's growth in January consolidated revenues was mainly due to larger than expected shipments of iPhone 4S and games consoles.
Pegatron is expected to reach target shipments of 20 million notebooks in 2012, with consolidated revenues for the year to increase to NT$700 billion, according to market analysts.
