ASRock shipped 7.8 million motherboards in 2011, 13.3% short of the target of nine million units, and aims to ship 10 million units in 2012, according to the company.
Currently, the Europe market accounts for 40% of ASRock's consolidated revenues, followed by Asia Pacific (excluding China) with 30%, the America market with 18% and the China market with 12%, ASRock pointed out. The China market is a major focus of ASRock's marketing in 2012, with revenues proportion expected to rise to over 15%.
