Bright LED reported October revenues of NT$293 million. According to the firm, orders have been increasing in November, hence November revenues are expected to reach NT$300 million. However, order visibility in December has been less clear, therefore fourth quarter revenues should still be less than in the third quarter.
According to Bright LED, Samsung Display's LED products account for 50% of revenues, while backlight and AlGaLnP LED products each account for 20%. In particular, orders of streetlamps have been increasing on year, but have not accounted for 10% of total revenues.
Ledtech reported disappointing October revenues of NT$88.77 million due to delays on the customer side. Ledtech indicated that November revenues should be better as the firm recently received orders for low-temperature lighting worth NT$100 million from large retailers such as Wal-Mart.
Ledtech expects November revenues to show on-month growth of 30-40%.
