Passive component maker Ta-I Technology is expected to see its monthly revenues from LED heat-sink substrates reach over NT$10 million (US$348,371) in the third quarter of 2011 and further increase to NT$30-40 million in the fourth, according to industry sources.

Since the production of solar panel substrates is similar to that of LED heat-sink substrates, Ta-I has also started shipping solar panel substrates to clients, added the sources, noting that sales ratios of substrate products will continue to ramp up quarter by quarter.
