UTN-L

  • UTN-L magnetic drive pump

UTN-L are heavy-duty horizontal single-stage magnetic drive centrifugal pumps of the latest generation.
Connected to the driving part by means of a flexible spacer coupling (back pull-out version) and installed on a common baseplate, their design is fully compliant with standards DIN 24256 and ISO 2858. The corrosion-resistant plastic lining of the pump casing is produced by moulding thermoplastic resins such as PP and PFA directly onto the suitably-machined metal casing (CDR ILS - Integrated Lining System - technology) thus obtaining pumps providing exceptional resistance to even the severest forms of chemical attack and mechanical stress (operating temperatures of up to 120°C and pressure of up to 16 bar) . The use of internal supports made from sintered ceramic materials, such as pure ceramic alumina, silicon carbide and LF graphite, makes these machines compatible with almost all chemical agents even those containing solids. Motion is transmitted from the motor to the pump by magnetic couplings, thus avoiding a mechanical connection between impeller and the driving part. This solution ensures there are no leakages of liquid and/or gas, therefore increasing operator and environmental safety.

These pumps are typically used in the industrial sector for the transfer of liquids, in particular: corrosive, toxic, putrid, radioactive, sterile and flammable liquids.
